On the TV shows page, when filtering by “unwatched,” the unwatched count in the upper right corner of the show poster does not dynamically update after watching an episode.
This is an issue with the non-beta version as well. Is no one else seeing this?
Does it update when refreshing the page?
If you move to a different page then go back or switch the filter options, yes it does. But on every other Plex player I’ve used besides Android TV, it always updates dynamically and immediately.
It was working on one of the previous Android TV beta versions. Maybe last time was a month or 2 back. Only recently I have noticed it only updates and when I switch tabs or libraries
So you are starting playback from the library screen and not going into the show correct?
No, I’m going from the Library screen into the individual show screens to start the episodes. After I’m done I hit the back button to go back to the Library screen, and the unplayed count on the Library screen doesn’t update. Also, if I’ve just watched the last unplayed episode and go back to the Library screen, the show poster is still there showing one unplayed episode (assuming I’m filtering by “Unwatched”). Normally the poster will disappear completely.

I can replicate this on the plex home screen with the continue watching row. I play an episode, it finishes and exit to the plex home screen to see the episode still there. Then when I go to any pinned libraries and back to the home screen, it updates to the next unwatched TV episode.

Curious if 10.20.0.1193-beta supposed to fix this?
I’m still seeing the same behavior as before after updating.
