Seems like we were sent the invitation email before we were actually accepted in the beta test. It’s working fine for me now.
Time to start testing. 
I uninstalled and re-installed… all is well now.

This might be a bug with the Windows Store itself. I know one of our support guys has hit an interesting scenario where he was able to download and use the beta on one machine, and got the generic “you’re not subscribed to the beta” app on another machine, even while signed in to the Store with the same account. Hopefully Microsoft can quickly fix this (I’ve reported it to them).
I am having the same issue. I use live.com for Windows and gmail for mail.
Hopefully Microsoft will fix it, if it is an issue with the Windows Store.

Uninstalling and then reinstalling didn’t help for me.
Maybe because I’m using another email address? I don’t know how to change that though.
change your plex account email to the same one that is on msft. That worked for me. Then uninstall and reinstall…
