I received an email to tell me that I’m indeed in the beta program and how to download plex for windows 10 but when I launch it , it says “This is an ivite only beta testing program. You don’t appear to be enrolled in this program, so the app will not exit”
It seems like my entering in the beta program have confirmation troubles.

Looks like this is a bug on the Windows Store’s handling of distribution lists. I’ve reached out to the team at Microsoft to let them know.
Ok. Why does it pull up the Xbox app on every machine I’ve tried to install it on? I’ve never used the Xbox app.
Received the email, downloaded the app and now it says “this is an invite-only program. You don’t appear to be enrolled in the program, so the app will now exit” !
Can you fix this ?
I guess it is due to the fact that the Email address I use for plex is different from the one in windows 10
Thanks

Not sure, it’s the adress cause I use the same on both windows and Plex invite and it doesn’t work.
Why is this listed as Answered? People still can’t run the beta even when they change their windows accounts to match their email. Something is really broken here with licensing and activation. It’s ridiculous there’s no real answer to this yet except tagging the thread as “answered”.
Forum threads will have a gray Answered tag if a Question post has responses. It isn’t actually Answered until the OP chooses a post as an answer. It’s a confusing Vanilla thing.
I’m sorry that some of you are still not able to see the beta. The “answer” for right now, is that you may just need to wait until we go live. Our priority right now needs to be working on the app to get it live.
Anyhow, it seems like a MS problem that is out of our control.
