I’m getting the error when trying to install the beta version: This app isn’t available for your device because it was made for an older version of Android.

Version: Android 16

I am having the same issue as well.

Same for me. Sony XQ-ES54 (Android 16)
Google Play Store tells me PlexAmp is only suitable for earlier versions of Android.
Is the PlexAmp apk for Android available anywhere besides the Play Store?

Same cause as the other threads, and it is on us: the app was targeting an older Android version and Play stops serving it to newer devices. It is fixed. The build with the fix is in review with Google for the Open Beta, so it is not something you need to chase, it will show up once that clears.

Update: that build is out of review. 4.50.7 is in the open beta now and should install fine.

Still have the same issue downloading from google play.

I have Installed it from the APK.

Any issues with Google Play, install from https://plexamp.plex.tv/downloads.html

Thanks for sharing the link. This is the only way to install the stable or beta version on the most recent versions of Android.
