Minor android auto request now that Plexamp is in an active beta. Can we have a track radio button added to the now playing screen? Right now all that shows in the lower right is the star rating button. Would love to be able to kick off a track radio there.
What is a track radio?
Any track that has gone through Sonic Analysis has a track radio option which plays songs that are sonically similar to the seed song. It’s one of the plexamp features I use the most.
Oh, man, that’s why I used to love Pandora. Does it work well? I’m going to have to look for this feature, can you point me in the right direction to making this work?
You have to have plex pass but here’s the support article all about it. Definitely worth it.
Just finished the sonic analysis on my music library (wow, that took a long time). How do you use this feature? I know you’re asking for a button on the now playing screen, but I looked around and don’t see a way to play track radio at all.
There are a couple of ways. The easiest (in my opinion) is to go to the Library view in Plexamp (the musical note in the nav bar), select Tracks, select the 3-dot menu on the desired track, and then select Play Track Radio (or Download Track Radio, if you’d like it for off-line listening).
You can also start a track radio from a current play queue.

So, yeah, OP has a great request. I never would have found this option on my own.
Highly recommend the DJ options also. Small turntable button in lower left of now playing screen next to the queue button.
