[BETA] Plexamp for iPad issues

Here are some issues I’ve noticed with the new beta for the iPad, build 4.50.3 (142):

• When in landscape mode with the Side by Side Layout option enabled, the full-screen player always opens on the Related tab, even when the Up Next tab was previously selected.
• The playback pill size is inconsistent. It seems that its size can change depending on the device’s initial orientation and subsequent rotations. Here are four progressively smaller landscape playback pills:
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• This one is subjective, but the tab bar pill feels too narrow, with the glyphs packed way too tightly. I just checked, and the tab bar is actually quite a bit wider and taller on my iPhone mini than on the larger iPad. It’s usable, but it feels like you have to deliberately aim at a tab to select it.

To add to my previous post, I’ve also been using the beta on an older iPad running iOS 17 (I really appreciate that the new Plexamp is still compatible, by the way!). While it doesn’t have the issue with the shrinking playback pill that I illustrated above, it is way too narrow in its default state. Not only is there almost no space between the progress indicator and the artist name, but it’s also simply too narrow a target for the finger to reliably hit. Here’s what it looks like:
