Server Version#: (doesn’t matter, player UI question)
Player Version#: Plex for iOS (iPadOS) - 2025.22.0 (1195)
Hello everyone!
I’m experiencing this quite frustrating issue when using my iPad to watch anything via Plex.
It is a 12.9-inch iPad, so while the screen is quite large for a mobile device, but UI buttons are really small. Smaller than a finger, really. And close to each other.
It causes everyone who is using the iPad to miss the buttons all the time. It wouldn’t be so frustrating if they were in a different order. Now, the Play/Pause button is in between the Previous and Next buttons, so if you miss the Pause and hit the Previous button instead, it goes to the start of the episode, and you simply lose track of where you’ve been. Or if you hit the Next button, you get spoilers from the next episode instead…
So, UI buttons are too small and cramped (at least for this device). Is there any way around this? I didn’t find any options to:
- Remove the Previous and Next buttons
- Move the Previous and Next buttons to the sides (I’d rather hit skip 10 sec back or 30 sec forward by accident instead)
- Change UI scaling
- Change button spacing
- etc.
If anyone has any advice, please let me know.
Thank you!
