Create a mechanism that would allow admins, when creating accounts, to disable, limit location and storage of DVR Recordings. Also allow the Admin to generate a configurable time limit to prevent recording sprawl.
Scenario 1: User/Admin/Father has children that are constantly recording cartoons and fills up general space when they are out of town on business. Now his favorite series “Matlock” will no longer record due to storage space issues.
Solution: Each child has their own storage space with a 2gb, while dad has 10tb, dad is happy, children may not be but do not understand why their next Episode of Paw Patrols didn’t record. Dad is still happy.
