Plex seems to throw my Top Gear America in with my Top Gear UK collection and there’s nothing I can do about it from what I can tell. Already rescraped and it did the same thing. We can fix incorrect matches on TV shows but not individual episodes.
The secret to happy scraping is to look at the page on TVDB.com where Plex gets its info from.
A quick look shows that the British show should be called 'Top Gear'.
The US show should be in a separate folder, and have the title "Top Gear (US)" or "Top Gear USA" in both the folder names and file names for trouble free scraping.

Yes, but once it has scraped there’s no way to fix it. Before I had a Top Gear folder, in which i had Top Gear UK and Top Gear US, I now moved the Top Gear US folder up to the root of TV shows, but it still doesn’t seem to be picking up on it.
In PMS, go to More - Empty Trash.
Do a deep scan, and it will fix it all up. Make sure the UK show is just called "Top Gear", and the US show is called "Top Gear USA".
Got it sorted.
Beyond that, though, I still think this is a reasonable request. No reason we shouldn't be able to manually tell PMS what show/episode it is. It does a mighty good job but soemtimes I know better.
You can tell Plex what show it is, by naming the files correctly.
Say you do this for 20 shows. Do you want to manually tell Plex what these shows are every time you rescrape your metadata? Or would you prefer to have them named properly, and have Plex automatically scrape them properly every time?
If i may Hijack this thread for a similar idea :
If Plex scrapes it wrong & i tell plex what it is after the fact, can we get an option for plex to rename/rearrange the files into the correct order to always scrape to the show specified?
For example, I have star wars clone wars 2008 series and every time i need to redo the index it always relabels it the 2003 series.
It would be nice to tell it once that it's the 2008 one and to rename and sort the files into their folders so if i need to re-scrape the folders it identifies it as the 2008 one again.
This works for me.

\Star Wars The Clone Wars (2008)
\Star Wars The Clone Wars (2008) - S01E01 - Ambush
I see very little point in a naming solution that doesnt explicitly refer to the TVDB.com as that is always going to be the largest factor in something scraping properly. Why do a workaround when its just as easy to fix the actual problem? If you use something like The Renamer, it takes seconds.
Its not really an issue to solve for Plex in my opinion.
