One thing that NOBODY has gotten right is streaming the pile of media that we create on our phones/cameras/camcorders in a pleasant way. Plex works great for files with metadata, but is pretty meh when browsing photos and home videos.
Something like geotag support, or automatic organization by year, etc. for home movies. Just trying to get a discussion going on this... if anyone can innovate and nail it, it's the Plex team.

I have a ton of home videos that i've organized with plex but it was not the easiest thing to accomplish.

Geotag for photos -> I would love to have it too
This is lacking in the photo album certainly as well, would love a better option for my home videos. Display wise is rather boring, personally I’d like a folder hierarchy like in the Photo Albums, the addition of Geotaggin, or maybe even face recognition would be just extra awesome!

regarding personal media that would be great if PMS was able to search the first face recognition and use it in the previous (instead of a random cover). I don’t understand if there’s any rule in the snap choosen for the cover.
