Wow. ok. thanks @sawtaytoes. This is a huge development. It basically means that someone could (eventually) create a metadata provider for anidb and just “plug it in”. That’s suuuuuuuper cool and something I’ve been asking for for years. I’m super sad about them removing “classic” plugins first, before providing that functionality. That’s going to be a huge loss for me and going to prevent me from upgrading until such agents exist…

Yeah I saw the post too the other day, days in the coming year so we’ll see how quickly it comes out.

Maybe they’ve looked into how XMBC agent as that’s been out since Xodi I think.

I’ve been happy with NFO as I can setup what’s displayed. That and everything is pulled from my Plex server directly. It doesn’t fetch anything else over the Internet. Only my movies are like that.

It didn’t work but then trying the original way did work. I think I changed a setting that stopped it working originally.

So ReZero Movie could be put into Season 1 as a special and they’ll be played by air date. And you can change the poster and name of said Speical folder thru Plex.

Tried it out as Beyond the Boundary has a music video that I wanted to play after the release of the episode featuring it.

This might be random, but you can have an episode 0 in your series.

While working on creating new subtitles i stumbled upon that s01e00 works if you want to add an episode 0.

That’s unexpected. I wonder when they added that feature. I swear that wasn’t possible in the past as I’d tried to do it myself at some point.

It is. I had renamed the original file to s01e00 so I can test the new file after adding in .ASS for subtitle changes and when I scanned my library it popped up.

Copied the NFO file and changed the episode number in it to 0 as well.

I guess it makes sense since s00 works and they labeled it Specials.

Oh and I tried adding .5 but those don’t work lol

Tempted to use e00 in seasons for clean opening :thinking:

Oh and I’ve tried collections but honestly I dont like that there’s no theme music. That and if you finish a season it won’t start the next season as it’s consider it’s own show.

Hopefully with the changes we’ll get to have multiple theme songs.
