Both Linux Plex Servers Down... UNREACHABLE

Bear with me, this will take a while…

Preface: Two Plex servers, one overseas and one local.

Right around 8pm PST last night I noticed a stream from a device that I didn’t have as an authorized device playing from my overseas PMS. The peculiarity is that the device’s ip was geo’d 1 digit off my zip code and in my general area. The device showed as “Plex for Vizio.” I dropped the stream a few times thinking perhaps I missed something, or worse someone logged into my general account. Worrying further I decided to change my password and kick devices on the account to make sure if it was someone else, that I could eliminate that factor.

Low and behold the issue continued, so my next guess was API issue. I then checked Plex Status and Down Detector and noticed a couple in my area (LV). I checked the settings for each and found I was able to get into settings but unable to connect to either server. Thinking my preferences.xml was corrupt (read and learned about this quirk from others) I deleted it and removed both servers from the authorized devices (purged everything else I wasn’t actively using) and then tried again. Issue persisted, I could connect to settings on either now.

Starting to really suspect issues with the API I then updated both servers and purged my config on the local server (it’s Docker ran, I have backups and it was the easy route). This issue sadly also didn’t fix anything.

So now I’m stuck. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Redoing my home server install again, the latest version of plex (using the official plex docker image) the install doesn’t even ask if I want to add media. It goes straight to home screen customization. From there I try to go back and readd and the option isnt available.
