I have this weird problem. Until recently, i was running plex on a qnap 471. as my library grew larger, i started having performance issues with playback, so I moved the server to a Geekom XT13. Performance has been stellar, but a new issue has arisen. I’ve been binging Fringe the tv series and video is randomly dropping. Audio is fine, and I can bring up the playback bar, switch chapters, etc. Anything the interface puts on the screen still works , just no video from the actual media file. I also have a apple tv, but i’ve given up on that because of. audio/video sync problems. But this video dropping didn’t happen on apple tv and so far i’ve only noticed it with Fringe. only popping out to the bravia home screen and reselecting plex and then selecting . resume fixes it temporarily. Any ideas?
PS. This only happens with the android app on the bravia tv. if i watch fringe on m.y ipad, no problems. flawless playback with no problems
