The “Continue Watching” section seems to have been removed. This was my most used feature: watch an episode, close the app, tomorrow come back and watch the next episode.
I don’t understand why this was culled from the new experience, which is very shiny but missing key functions.
Please restore this functionality on all platforms (I’m using the mobile app but I gather it’s not limited to iOS)
Workaround: I have to search for the show and then browse to the season every time I want to watch the next episode
From what I can tell “favoriting” a Library is on the mobile app. Google doesn’t provide me anything about doing this on Windows/Chrome.
How about desktop? My “Continue Watching” has also disappeared; it was available a few days ago, latest update (Synology, 1.41.7.9799) has bunged up several things. e.g. one library always errors when I view it with the Recommended section active, but all content is there under Library. Library->Recommended,
Any device. Windows, Android, Firestick. Prior to .9799 I never had this problem.
Plus as of about 4-5 updates ago, Continue Watching became only accurate and up to date on Windows/Chrome, Android and Firestick clients no longer showed an accurate listed, the 6-8 most recently active items were never displayed. For Firestick, for example, if I view an individual library, under Recommended the Continue Watching is accurate. So, accurate data is there, but not on the Home screen. Pity, that.
Plex has been generally stable on this server for years, two updates seen to have thrown functionality sideways.
