Browser refreshing

Is anyone running the native QNap version and noticed when manually scanning libraries, the whole page refreshes including the left-hand menu (collapsed with my server gone) to the “home” state shortly after it finishes? Previous versions were fine.

Last night I was casting from my desktop to Chromecast and the movie stopped, Plex tab refreshed…

Just me or?

Note: Auto library refresh is off by the way (both options: file detection and schedule)

Updated versions of Plex Web and Plex Desktop released today.

For Plex Web, use https://app.plex.tv/desktop/.

For Plex Desktop, download the update from plex.tv if it does not auto-update.

If you mean Server, I only see a beta version for download.

I don’t use the Windows App because it can’t find/use Chromecast… I don’t refresh Plex Web that often, does it update?

Use the hosted version of Plex Web, https://app.plex.tv/desktop. It is the most current version.

The version bundled with Plex Media Server generally lags behind several releases. It cannot be updated separately from Plex Media Server.

There should be a notification on there to say “Refresh to update Plex Web” as WhatsApp does.
