Plex keeps refreshing, it got worse after the upgrade to 4.123.2

Had this problem before, it appears to have gotten much worse after upgrading to 4.123.2

Basically, the home screen keeps refreshing. Before it would just slightly blink, now it fully refreshes. I get the little “loading” circle, then the screen comes back, flickers, then refreshes again.

In the Plex App for Windows, I went to settings, and reset the defaults, I’m brought to the set up menu to pick a server, then where I pick the libraries, it refreshes after a couple seconds and I’m back to picking the server again.

I haven’t noticed the issue on Roku, android, or iPhone apps, just on my desktop.

To add, this happens in the Plex app for Windows, Chrome, Firefox, and Opera.

I can’t even watch anything since it refreshes and then gives a playback error

There is a problem with the hosted version of Plex Web (app.plex.tv) and the current version of Plex Desktop.

Any update on this issue. I run playback mainly on the Nvidia Shield and is almost unusable. I don’t want or consider neutering features of my server as a viable solution. Surely someone at Plex can contribute or advise when a fix will be available

This has been resolved a month ago. What version player are you using?
