Buffering Files with EAC3 audio over local network

Player Version#: web (Edge) + Plex for windows (1.110.0.351-4e48eb83) + PS5 (Latest)
<If providing server logs please do NOT turn on verbose logging, only debug logging should be enabled>

I have regular (and extended) buffering issue when playing video files that are specifically encoded via EAC3 5.1 audio.

Im running a Intel® Core™ i7-7700 CPU +Quadro P2200 on Unraid 7.1.4

Troubleshooting done:

  • I have confirmed video encoding works via Nvidia Quadro P2200.
  • Disabled Direct Stream
  • Deleted Codec folder and restarted PMS

Unable to fix. Web client and server logs attached.

ok, so i optimised the plex database (cause i had added a lot of media lately), rebooted the server once again.

Funny thing now is that when i play the same media that was transcoding the EAC3 audio, its now just direct playing, and is fine.. Changed nothing else.

Weird.
