So I have been using PLEX for a bit more than a year now and only lately Ive noticed buffering while watching a movie.
My server at home is on a 75/75 Fiber Optic line and the other end where I watch is a 150/150 line. Why on earth is this buffering?
Is your media transcoding??
It is. But also it shows to be throttled which i believe means it has way more headroom than it needs, so I just dont see why it would buffer. This is how I’ve been watching for nearly a year now and never has it buffered except for the last couple weeks and it does all the time now.
