Buffering on certain TV shows

Hi all,

I have a remote server that stores my Plex media, it has faster than Gigabit speeds and is on excellent hardware, I have a connection to the server at >60Mbps but certain TV shows will come up on wired and wireless devices and say that the connection to the server is not fast enough. However I could be watching a movie on original quality, one of my bluray rips and that plays fine. What do I need to look for to fix this issue?

Looking at the logs I can see the following quite a lot;

“reporting timeline state buffering“

It’s happening on one tv show and this movie which hardly has any bitrate at all.
