My friend have aTV with PlexConnect but his router is on g (54 mbps in the house ..) which means videos are VERY slow for him (Not Myplex, local ones, and not big). Is it possible to make a place in settings where i can choose how to buffer for MyPlex and for local content?(Choose how to buffer for Myplex, and how to buffer for local, don't have to be both same settings)
And it'll have 2 options:
1. Deafult
2. Buffer all the time-which means that from the moment video started playing aTV will buffer on and on until it'll have all of the video (Of course on files bigger then 7 GB it's not possible but on other files it is) even if it seems like enough content buffered?
A pair of powerline plugs (200 speed) have dropped to around $18 in a lot of countries, so if changing the router isn’t possible then it is a cheap alternative.
... don't most powerline plugs work by connecting one to a router and the other where ever you need a connection? ergo... weakest link would still be the router, in this case g-54mbps

That is the wifi, interface the powerline uses the cabled port (usually either 100mbs or 1gig).
It's not just that.. When using MyPlex in N or AC network 1080P gets stuck all the time (That's how i would you these settings). Plus, i don't know why, but 720p on my iPad from MyPlex is smoother then 720P on my aTV with Plexconnect and myplex ...
The answer is the same though and wifi is just not reliable for continuous streaming. Also the ATV’s wifi chip may be older than the iPad one, it has the the RF interference of other equipment close to it, it is in a different position in the house etc etc
So another question about buffering (Forget the others, that's other&new question):
I watched 3 movies via iPad&Airplayed them my ATV, these movies were from MyPlex and ran perfect. When tried to run via PlexConnect, it got stuck many times .. It's not like a free storage problem, the atv has 7 gb for the movies and they were less then 7 gb anyway .. It was iPad 2 so resolution is 1024-by-768 and on aTV when choosing 720P resolution it gets stuck. A lot. How it come?
