Player Version#: different, from chromecast to android
the situation is as following.
i’ve got a pc with a ryzen 3700x 16gig DDR4 3600mhz a Zotac GTX 1070 8GB AMP edition videocard, and 3 SSD’s.
I’m trying to transcode an episode from 4K to 1080p.
The video starts fast and hardware transcoding works (plexpass and all options enabled and it shows in the dashboard and also shows up in plex Dash).
i want to watch the episodes on my chromecast in the bedroom, i placed a new accespoint nearby when i found out the connection might be limited. The buffering stayed.
i then tried the same on my oneplus 8 pro and saw that direct play showed no issues what so ever.
When i turned on transcoding by selecting 1080p high it showed exactly the same. buffering every few seconds.
when i enable verbose logging i can see the speed going from this:

This just keeps repeating.
i can see the videocard doing something every now and then but i just dont get it…
This card should be able to do a couple of these transcoding similtanious.
some help would be appreciated.
