I’m having trouble with some, not all, 4k content frequently buffering/stuttering. The server is a synology 920+, and plex is installed as a package (not through docker). I have plex pass and hw transcoding is enabled (but I don’t think this matters since the clients can natively support 4k).
Dashboard shows direct play when the buffering occurs. The problem happens with three different clients (fire tv stick 4k max, Sony tv app, and android phone via plex app). I think this is a plex specific issue (and not network) since I can play the files directly on my phone from the NAS using VLC without a problem.

How do I troubleshoot this? I wonder if it’s some combination of the audio track, DV or HDR that’s causing issues and can try to localize it better if that’s a possibility. Thank you!
