Issue is still present in latest release.
Been patiently waiting for some kind of response from Plex on this, but it appears they are radio silent.
Basically the Mi Box is unusable for plex until this is sorted. Are you able to disable passthrough? I find on my boxes that it does not honour the “disable passthrough” setting either which is even more annoying.

Nope, I’m in the same boat.
Also, still not fixed in latest release.

Interestingly media with ac3 plays just fine in the new Kodi plex add-on, still not fixed in the actual plex app.

I mentioned in another thread but will bring it up here. Yes, I’m seeing the same thing except the Mi Box doesn’t passthrough the audio properly. It’s playing to 2 channels for me instead of the 5.1 that its supposed to…
I cant even get to the point where I can worry about pass through. The videos will play for about 5 seconds, skip, then resume at 2x speed, while the audio remains constant. Happens on both Mi Boxes I own.
Issue still present, after updating to server 1.3.3 and android beta 5.3.0.573
Still not working.

Thanks for keeping up. If you’re not keeping score at home, today makes three months without a fix, or let alone a single acknowledgement from plex that they are aware of the issue.
