Because this bug is on the library side, it affects all players (tried Windows desktop app, Mac desktop app, nVidia Shield TV app). The server is running on a Synology NAS but I have no real reason to believe the bug is limited to Synology.
I have a collection of TV shows which consists of a mix of shows that are finished airing and show for which new episodes are airing. When a new episode airs and scans in on any of the still-airing shows, they disappear from all collections they were in. This seems replicable across a variety of shows in the same library.
Is this a known bug? If so, is there something I can do to avoid it?
I can generate a series of logs – my library is pretty big and a scan takes a few minutes so it might make more sense to make a fake library with one show and add one episode to it. But because this is replicable I think it might not need a log to follow up on.
