I’ve noticed in Libraries containing photo’s on the plex firestick app that the album/folder name isn’t appearing under each album. It’s correctly displayed on the computer browser version/client.
On the firestick version if you switch to another folder/album you briefly see all the album names within that category but then they get overwritten by a suitable example picture from the album.
Seems to work fine for music folders/albums.
Hope that makes sense - the plex app on the firestick is the latest as of 12 Jan 2022 not sure how to get it’s version number.
I also noticed that the user NeilsenRM_gmail_com posted a similar question in August 2021. Unfortunately, the post did not get a reply. He had version 8.21.2.27212. I believe it’s around this time or before that the problem started to happen and has not worked since. Plex please can you fix this.

Seems even the Chrome browser isn’t consistent, on the parent folder the name is under the picture, on subfolders the name overlays the picture.
I believe on the firestick the name is there but the picture is overlaying the writing , rather than the other way around.
If this has been outstanding for so long either plex have no real way of reporting bugs or don’t care.
Having spent more time now on the forum, I get the general feeling it’s the latter, Looks like I’ll have to look for an alternative to plex in that case.
I have seem some reporting they can use plex as the backend but something else as the plex client, not sure how successful that would be.
