[BUG]Android TV/Android Mobile overlapped timing subtitles problem

Server Version#:1.19.2.2737(smb)
Player Version#:8.0.0.17276

With Plex Player for Android/Android TV, when there is overlapped timing in the subtitles, such as the example below, line 2 will appear at 00:00:06 after line 1 disappears, rather than at 00:00:03 as supposed.

1
00:00:01,000 --> 00:00:06,000
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

2
00:00:03,000 --> 00:00:08,000
BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB

In this example, line 2 will appear for only 2 seconds instead of 5. Here are the screenshots:

The web version Plex, VLC, and Potplayer can all do it correctly. See the screenshots below from Potplayer:

It really matters when someone talks before another person finishes. The bug makes some lines appear for way shorter than they should.

Thanks!

Hi xpanbc,
it seems like srt is your favourite file name ending. Most players don’t round up numbers, but instead just drop the last digits. Keeping this in mind, everything is correct:
second :1::::::::::::::::2:::::::::::::::3:::::::::::::::4::::::::::::::::5::::::::::::::::6::::::::::::::::7::::::::::::::::8:::::::::::::::
//////////--------------------------------------------------//////////////////////////////
//////////////////////////////--------------------------------------------------////////// 10 lines 1 second
` ```````````````|||``````````````````|||``````````````````````````````````|||`````````````````````````` every vertical line(s) is one screenshot
And because srt starts from the bottom (by default), everything seems to be correct. Line 1 was supposed to disappear right at the beginning the sixth second. Hope this helps (yes, i know, people can do better diagrams)

Thanks for your answer. However, you might have misunderstood me. The screenshots are the correct ones from Potplayer. The problem is with the Android/Android TV version. I will add screenshots of the Android version to the original post shortly.

Ah ok, well on Plex for Windows it’s working just fine, so yeah, probably a bug. Something a PlexDev may need to take a look at.
