Android TV layout shows thumnails as the cover art instead of individual episode thumnails when TV library is set to hide seasons for single season series.
It displays them fine when you remove this option. Other players such as Roku, LG, PMP display these fine.
This is a long-standing issue that they have failed to fix going on 3 years now: Flatten one Season shows - Nvidia Shield

8.3.1 - any chance this is fixed?
this issue has been fixed with latest release. Though there is a small bug with the fix - no metadata displayed.
