Plex can’t use embedded tags of APE lossless music files (Monkey’s Audio), but plays correctly. And local players shows tags correctly.

The same with MusePack (MPC) also. Even when files have both APEv2 and also ID3v1 tags the files are not read correctly. Mutagen is the Python library which Plex uses to read tags and it should be able to read these, no idea why this support is still missing. I can see posts going back 4+ years for this issue.
Two Years later and this is still happening, what the hell?
