Sometime During the last year or so Plex began showing me duplicate Movie and TV Show collections.
These duplicates have 0 items in them.
When you press Play, or the Three Dots, Plex Displays an “Oops Something went wrong” screen that requires jumping to home, and then back to Movies or TV Shows to reset the Collections screen.
When you press the Item Selection Button on the phantom collections, Plex Displays an “Oops Something went wrong” screen that cannot be reset without closing and re-opening the app.
When editing the phantom collections, it opens the info editor, but will not allow changes to be saved.
Cannot Delete Phantom Collections.
Some of my newer collections are not duplicated at all.
What has happened to my Video Collections? Music Seems unaffected by this duplication error. How can I resolve without wiping out my collections or library and starting over? I have a lot of unique items that Plex can’t ever find in media searches.
Also Collections No longer have an Alphabetical Listing of Letters to jump/scroll to by collection titles like we can with every other Library Screen available… Please bring it back.
