It looks like there is a bug in Roku app where the Live TV & DVR Program Guide never loads correctly the first time. Whenever I navigate to the TV section, I can see the listing of channels (channel number and icon), but no programs. If I arrow over to that section, I get no UI indication that the guide is focused. The only thing that fixes it is to press the back button. Then the guide populates and I can navigate to it, and it is good for as long as the app is running.
This happens consistently every time, so I believe it’s a bug in the client.
P.S. The same behavior can be seen when navigating to the guide from a live channel via the up button. It is empty, and I have to press back (which refocuses the live channel) and up and again to get the guide. It seems like the PIP guide is unique per channel, because I have to perform this ritual for each new channel from which I want to navigate to the guide. As a result, I usually just quit the live channel and exit to the main guide, which is already fixed at that point.
Does anyone else see this on Roku?
