All apps and HD Homerun 4k - no guide available

Server Version#: 1.26.0.5715
Player Version#: Android, Shield Pro, multiple Rokus
Tuner Make/Model: HD Homerun Flex 4k
Guide/Lineup name: ? Local Broadcast Listings? My Channels?
Using XMLTV?: No
Channel number/Name: all

I have no guide data in any of my apps. However, the guide works flawlessly on my server when I log into through the web. I can set the DVR to record, but there is no live TV on any app I have. It does not matter if I am remote or local. Also, I have deleted the tuner and re-added it a couple of times. I have also refreshed the guide multiple times.

Just for clarification, do you not see the guide at all (no Live TV & DVR section), or do you see that guide, just with no data? If the former, you now have to view the guide via Live TV (More → Plex → Live TV). If the latter, I’m not seeing the same issue (but I’m using an HDHomeRun Connect 4K).

Sounds like it has become unpinned on the client or the favorites have been lost.

I know this happens if you delete the dvr, deleting the tuner would mess up the favorites.

Edit: Also it can’t be said enough that 1.26.0.5715 has major date issues with regard to EPG and TV libraries, update to the latest public at least.

It is pinned and I can easily navigate to it. However, the moment I try to select the guide, I get an error of cannot load guide (or something to that effect). I am at work, but will get the exact verbiage when I get home.

The error is: There was an error loading the guide. Please try again later." This is on every app I have on every platform tagged.

Sounds like the clients have cached information that doesn’t line up with the server. Not sure what best way to clear that.

One was is to delete the DVR and re-add it. When you bring up a client is should get an exclamation point on Live TV, un-pin and re-pin it.

Last night I tried deleting the DVR/tuner and re-added it. Still nothing. Any ideas? I primarily use my Roku’s for TV viewing, and this is getting very frustrating.

Remove and reinstall the client, Roku should be at version 7.09. They fixed this a month back should have a workable version by now.

Upload logs or look in the Plex Media Server.log for database corruption messages.

Already on 7.09. I will check out the logs when I get a chance. End of school year mayhem here.

Your issue sounds very similar to the problem I’m having: "Something went wrong An unexpected error occurred" with Live TV except that I don’t even see the guide on my server. I’ve tried many of the same solutions without effect.

Unfortunately, I don’t have any additional insight to offer, beyond moral support.

Deleting and reinstalling the Plex app on Roku fixed it. Glad it is working now. Thanks.
