I’m running the Amazon Fire Cube with Plex version 9.13.1.37459 and every time I open Plex for the first time it defaults to my Home tab but all the way down to “Trending Trailers”.
Trending Trailers is about 3-4 items down below the fold of the screen from where it should default which is “Continue Watching”.
This only happens when the app opens for the first time.
My server is running Version 1.30.1.6497 it will update once it comes down via docker.
I’ve experienced this as well. Often happens on first launch of the app.
This issue is so annoying I have unpinned Discover since it is useless if it is going to cause this problem. So technically I solved this problem but I would think Discover needs to be fixed instead of forcing users to choose to have Discover pinned or not… Unless that is what the dev team wants…???
This appears to be fixed in the current beta version of the Android TV app – at least is is not happening anymore for me…
I will have to check and see what version the Fire devices are pulling and see if it is this same as ATV.
