I’ve only been using the DVR feature this week but I noticed something today. I scheduled a show to start recording a minute before airtime and I used limit to airing time. The show won’t appear on the recording schedule. Is this a bug? It seems like if a show has a 10:00 PM airtime I should be able to select 10:00 PM airing time limit and still have it start a few minutes before. Sorry, if this has been posted before.
I have the same issue in beta 5
It would also be nice if I could filter to a specific airing day.
I found something maybe related. On a working schedule of shows i tried to limit one news show to exclude the 30 min pre-episode at 4:30 and to only record the 5:00am slot. So to my surprise I find under “Limit to airing time”, Any (default and functional), 3:30 am and 4:00 am. Since the actual airing times are 4:30 and 5:00 am, anything other then “any” for obvious reasons will not record and will be completely removed from the schedule.
I have found if I set both Limit to Airing Time and Minutes Before Start it will not see any episodes to record.
However if I only set one of them it works fine.
My guess is it is comparing the (Limit to Airing Time - Minutes Before Start) to the time in the EPG guide but instead it should only be comparing Limit to Airing Time to the EPG guide. (It should not factor in the Minutes Before Start)
I would say this is a bug.
I still have the same issue. I have to set the “Minutes before start” to 0 minutes to get the right airing times. This have been a issue since the first Beta and I see more people having this issue.
