It appears that the live tv transcoder is not using the video quality set under the “Internet Streaming | Video quality” on remote streams. It always uses original video quality, this causes a lot of buffing on remote devices that don’t have a lot of bandwidth available. The “Automatically adjust quality” for the live tv transcoder seems to be adjusting the video quality as intended.

After more testing I have concluded the following. IOS works fine. The web app works fine with one exception. There is no option to change the video quality on the play bar like you can on all the other apps. Android seems to be where the issue is coming from. I also noticed that when you change the video quality on the android play bar it has no effect. It always reverts back to automatic. Hopefully we can get an acknowledgement from the Dev’s that they are aware of this issue.
This has been fixed in an update.
