[BUG] play a special season, the playlist is completely wrong

Hi,

when I want to read a special season, the reading list that is automatically created does anything, it puts episodes of normal seasons right in the middle.

exemple with one punch man :

Thank you for reporting. I’m able to reproduce the weird Play Queue when starting a Specials episode or starting playback from the Specials season.

I’m not seeing the following though

play normal season (with special season on the serie) : wrong queue
play normal episode (with special season on the serie) : wrong queue

Starting Season 2 when a Special exists, starts the Season from episode 1 or it’s On Deck position then continues into the following episodes of the following seasons. Playing an episode produces an expected Play Queue of the following episodes in the season then the following episodes of the following seasons. If you’re seeing something differently please let me know.

I’ll file a bug report for the issue with playing from Specials seasons. Thank you again for reporting.

I also have this bug which is of the same type, I think it affects the same section of code

@usrplex this is actually excepted behavior. The Play Queue that is being built is based on the air/release date of the episodes. If the S00 episode is aired between seasons or during a a season, that S00 episode will be sorted into the queue based on the aired date.

Good morning,
therefore the special seasons cannot be read as a season in their own right. and when we read the series the special episodes interfere with the reading.

I understand this choice but without the possibility of changing it via an option, it quickly becomes unbearable.
for the special episodes are bonuses and should not interfere with the rest and should be considered as a season in its own right (this is my point of view)

in short, as this option will never happen, I will delete my special episodes (or maybe modify the airdate for put the specials episodes at the end) :slight_smile:

And regarding my other bug, were you able to look? ([BUG] add to Queue, not working properly)

“Play Next” and “Add to Queue” do same thing

From my understanding, add to queue, should add at the end of queue:
example :

  • add to queue One Punch man
  • add to queue Avatar

normally Avatar should appear following the last episode of the One Punch Man series

but currently it appears following the first episode of one punch man (exactly as if I clicked on play next)
