Using Mac as server and nvidia shield pro as player. Sony tv as display.
As stated, when pass through is set to HDMI I receive audio pops immediately after I pause media. While paused I get intermittent popping noises, which apparently are enough of a spike to set my AVR into protection mode. Disabling passthrough fixes the issue completely. This issue only started after the last update.
