Plex is automatically deleting items from a newly created TV library, despite the fact that “Empty trash automatically after every scan” is DISABLED in the Server-Library settings.
I do have “Update my library automatically,” “Run a partial scan when changes are detected,” and “Update my library periodically” enabled. All of those options have been that way for as long as I can remember, and I do not recall ever changing them except when I initially set up the server.
It should be noted that the auto-deletion bug only affects the TV library I created a few days ago. The other libraries appear to work as expected, and do not automatically delete an item when a change is detected in the library. That is, older libraries show the Trash icon overlaid on the item, and report it as unavailable.

I realize the forum is a busy place, and it’s easy for the Ninjas and Plex employees to miss a post.
I do feel that that if this is indeed a bug, it could affect many users who have media attached with drives that could be unavailable for a period of time. Auto-deltion would not be a good thing in that case. If it is something wrong with my set-up, I would appreciate a response indicating that, so I can repair the problem.
