This issue has been present for a while now. As soon as I reach 8 or 9 remote streams, the PMS will become unresponsive and a service restart is required. I couldn’t find what could cause this issue and I would love if you could have a look at my logs. I see there is this recurrent line: DEBUG - Auth: We found auth token (xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx), enabling token-based authentication. PMS was installed using the package manager, but I had the same issue with linuxserver.io PMS docker. Logs are attached to this post.
To clarify, the PMS does not go down when this happens, but the server is unreachable through any frontend app. The service needs to be restarted in order for it to come back up. I’d love to hear from people who are able to maintain 8+ remote streams (what setup they have), or anybody else that had the same kind of issue. If Plex support could have a look at my logs, get back and tell me where to look at to start diagnosing the issue, I’d really appreciate
I should add, there were music being synced when it crashed, which should be reflected in the logs. In my personal experience, it seems Plex suffers from stability issues when something is being optimized/synced in the background. Anyways, would love some feedback!
There are multiple other people reporting the same problem. I had it as well. Ended up going to the public release and it works fine. Some also report that pre 1.7.2 works fine as well.
