[BUG] Plex search/discover does not find some shows

Can’t find these shows, is this a bug or is plex using other services when aggregating for content?

Elitstyrkans Hemligheter (swedish version other cast then SAS: Who Dares Wins": Elitstyrkans hemligheter - Sverige (TV Series 2021- ) — The Movie Database (TMDB)
Expedition: Robinson: Expedition: Robinson (TV Series 1997– ) - IMDb
Dan Doh!!: Dan Doh!! (TV Series 2004) - IMDb
[N/A found it] Baby Steps: Baby Steps (TV Series 2014–2015) - IMDb

Couldn’t understand what sources plex is using based on these guides, was assuming imdb was one of the sources.

Plex has their own metadata site they made, at watch.plex.tv. They scrape data for this from multiple sources, such as IMDB, TMDB, TVDB, and maybe more?

I was able to find Expedition Robinson NL (Dutch?) and Baby Steps. Dan Doh!! is on TVDB and TMDB, but I wasn’t able to find it in Plex’s system.

Allright thanks I can also find Baby Steps now , yes that’s the dutch version with different cast.

Here’s what I found out:

We are aware that not all content is searchable right now and are working to address it. This primarily affects titles without a content rating and unreleased titles.
