[bug] Plex Web UI - small (CSS?) glitch

Hi PlexDevs,

I am using the latest Chrome browser, I am using the latest PMS beta version.
I am using Plex Web to edit metadata for movies, for collections, for TV shows and episodes.

I have found a very small inconsistency in the user experience within Plex Web Edit (metadata) popup window.

I am showing such a popup window for a movie and I am reproducing that visual glitch (no operational impact) with the movie title field, but the same is true for most non-drop-down-fields in this window.

This is how it looks for me by default. As you can see, there’s a small indentation (a small gap between the field border and the beginning of the text). See below.

Normally, when clicking (using a mouse) into that field, the indentation stays the same while actually editing that field. See below.

But if you are clicking into that same field near the upper or lower border of that field, the indentation is “lost”. No more gap… see below:

Once you have seen this behaviour and leave edit mode of that field, the gap is still missing. see below:

Changing tabs to another tab in that window and going back to the tab before brings back the original indentation.

This is no big deal. It just irritates me evertime it happens - so after years of seeing this… I finally found the time to write up a report to this forum.

I bet that this one is an easy fix for a number of form fields…

Glad someone else reported this as I’ve noticed it for years

Interesting. Seems to be related to Chrome, or chromium-based browsers. This doesn’t happen in Firefox, but it does in Vivaldi.
