[Bug] Plexamp cover images get blurrier at larger fonts

When the font is set to anything larger than “Normal” the cover images plexamp shows get more blurry/low quality. Here are some examples

Here I have plexamp on a 1920x1200 display, with side-by-side turned off. I have scaled up the images (using nearest neighbor, so the scaling itself wont add any blurring/smoothing) to show the difference between the two font options. The covers are (basically) the same size on the screen though there is a noticeable difference in quality. No other settings have been changed

Here I have plexamp fullscreened on the same minitor portrait. I overlayed the original cover over the plexamp screenshot, to show what the “perfect” quality would be. (I scaled the covers down to the same size of the screenshot, rasterized them and then scaled them 200% using NN).

There is only a small quality difference with the normal font option, but quite a large difference with the mega option. Again no other settings have been changed.

This also applies to thumbnails.

(running windows 11, plexamp version 4.10.0)

nice analysis, are you letting the album art reload from the server when you change the size? if not the chrome engine is just scaling them. the next album art which gets loaded should properly compute size for zoom factor.

ah, that seems to do the trick. thanks!
