Quick heads up because I don’t know where to file bug reports: The playlist filter “Track Last Skipped; in not the last” is not working. I thought something was funny when I made a filter to exclude songs I had skipped in the last ten days, that half my 100k song music library was not in there. …I definitely did not skip that many songs!! (haha)
To test, I added a new album tonight, and started a new filter that was “Track Last Skipped; in not the last 10 days”…and that brand new album was not in there.
Not sure how to get the devs to be aware, but here it is!
I’m not specifically familiar with that filter, but from the sounds of it, this seems like using “Track last skipped” would only include tracks you skipped, then “not the last 10 days” would be beyond 10 days, so this would result in tracks you skipped 10+ days ago.
Ah, potentially… I’m trying to make a filter like this being that I want my smart playlist to not include tracks I’ve skipped in the past ten days. In iTunes, I have a smart playlist that filters out anything played within the last 21 days, and also filters out anything I’ve skipped in the last ten days. This gives me a better randomizer that limits how often I hear the same song. …while, over time, replenishing my playlist.
Works really well in iTunes, trying to accomplish the same thing with Plexamp so I can ditch bringing a duplicate iTunes library around with me. (Side note: I would love if Plexamp could access iTunes’ sound check settings since it’s metadata from playback level.)
