[Bug Report] Tidal playlist queing

  • Environment:
    Plex Server 1.29.1.6276, Plex Web 4.92.0, Plexamp 4.4.0

  • Expected Behavior:
    Open a Tidal playlist and start playback of a track, playlist gets queued (or at least remaining part), play position in the queue at the position of the track in the playlist. Select next plays next track in playlist/queue

  • Actual Behavior:
    Open a Tidal playlist and start playback of a track, playlist gets queued, the selected track is put at the front of the queue, removed from playlist position. Select next track starts playback at the beginning of the playlist/queue, not the next playlist track

  • Steps to reproduce:
    Create a playlist in Tidal with multiple albums, open in Plex Web or Plexamp, select play at the second album in the playlist

Seen Elan comment on this that its a known issue in the backend a year or so ago, cannot find that now.

@tleib have you figured out a fix for this? I am having the exact same problem.

No I have not. Depending of length of playlist or queue I either then jump to an album directly and just play this instead or press next a lot. Really annoying :tired_face:
