Very annoying bug started with previous verson of the client for Apple TV 4k (lates model) and still exists in current version.
When you go to shows you can see the problem that exists only with the first episode of the show.
Under episode’s thumb, there are play, mark as watched/unwatched and more icons.
It is impossible to go and select any of these icons (other episodes wors fine).
It should be very easy to confirm this big.
On Roku 4k everything works fine, just an apple is consumed by a bug.

Works fine for me.
You can get the same options with a long click on the show for a workaround, but all fine here.

Same problem after TV OS update to version 16.
Plex player update no resolve problem.
Wow, wow, not so fast.
Yes, long click on the show will play the first episode, but you cannot reach “watched/unwatched” and “more”, so it’s not OK
Anyway, you should be able to control all episodes in the very same manner.

When did this get released?
I am on tvOS 16.1/Plex 8.8.2
You need to sign up for the TestFlight beta releases of Plex.
However that release also fixed an issue with surround sound so I imagine it will be pushed to the main release channel soon.
Plex on my apple TV 4k as be update now.
I have now version 8.9(1)
The bug with TvOS16 is correct.
