Bug Reporting Process?

I’ve been using Plex for years now and have only recently had cause to use/post on Forums - a process I find very difficult!

I have put up with many ‘inconsistencies’ with Plex during this time and many of these are still not resolved, so I decided to see on forums if others have the same issues. I was amazed at the volume of problems users are having, many of which go unanswered/unsolved (as did my recent post).

A considerable number of posts have the word ‘BUG’ at the start of the post - is this a formal way of reporting a bug? - if no what is?

I’ve also noticed that many posts do rely on users identifying a similar existing post and adding to it, so is it the volume of replies/suggestions/additions that indicates the seriousness of the point in question, and therefore if it will get fixed?

If so, it is very frustrating to realise that some of the problems we have as users may be somewhat specific and therefore stand little chance of ever being resolved.

If my one post about problems playing music by folder on my Sony Android TV doesn’t get any replies what is the next step to get some attention to solve the issue?

I’m sure a bug reporting process/map would assist me and many other Plex users to better understand and improve our Plex user experience.

You can ping someone from here in the topic ( just pick one person not everyone). by doing an @mention like @BigWheel

Hi There - and many thanks for replying as above to this post. Unfortunately I don’t understand how to do what you mention to my original problem post, and don’t know how to find its reference number.

Since I haven’t received any replies to it I was hoping I could ask you to take a look at it as suggested - it is entitled “Problem playing music by folder on Sony Bravia TV”.

Thanks again & Best Regards.
