Even better as it’s actually fixed some artists that were stuck for years not reading this metadata from last.fm - now i only have three artists that still refuse (well two actually, one is an emo band called ‘September’ that now erroneously gets similar artists from some girl band a they are all like ‘Dannii Minogue’, ‘Girls Aloud’ and ‘Steps’ - but this is probably because last.fm still has no disambiguation 
)
I was wondering that myself, at a glance there seems to be more similar matches but I’ve not done any deep diving yet on specifics.
I am on the latest sever version (the one with the bug fixed) and I STILL do not have any similar artists to my over 1800 artists in my Plex Library? Any ways to fix that? Thanks a lot!
Please quote the actual version number. “Latest” doesn’t mean anything as it can change any day, and it also depends on your server platform and the selected server update channel what is considered “latest” available.
Ensure that your library is set to “Plex Music” for both Scanner and Agent.
Ensure that you have triggered Refresh Metadata on the affected Artists.
The artist preplay will not show any related artists if these artists are not present in your own library.
Edit the artist to see the full list including artists you don’t have yourself in your collection.
Only artists with albums/releases attributed to them are shown. i.e. artists who only appear on a track inside a compilation album don’t appear.
Hi, I”m still having this issue as well. Is the fix currently only in the beta channel? My Plex is “up to date” but I’m only at 1.42.1.10060
Yes it’s still only in beta. I guess Plex have had a few other things going on recently that took priority

I am on Version 4.147.1 and Similar Artists are not being filled in.
4.147.1 is not a server version number (it’s a Plex Web version number).
Check your actual server version - it needs to be Version 1.42.2.10122 (currently beta) to get the fix
Version 1.42.1.10060 ok. I always have bad luck with Beta versions. I will wait a tad longer.
