It looks like there are some issues with the guide data you are getting. Prior to this build, that would cause us to spin on a timer endlessly and suck up a ton of CPU time and still not show any guide data. Now it just doesn’t show any guide data. What region/postal code/provider do you have your EPG set to?

What is this supposed to fix?
Installed and running v1.11.3.4799-4492e1bf9.
EPG refresh at 25% after 30 minutes. EPG Refresh CPU load same as last version ~20-30%.
Program Guide takes about 3 seconds to load (same as last version) while EPG is refreshing.
Will report back when EPG Refresh completes.
Thanks for the report. This build is supposed to fix the high CPU usage issue on the EPG.
Mine has completed and it is also empty. In the settings where the DVR is though it said 2157 Airings downloaded when I was at 95%. My region is New Zealand.
My DVR is a HDHomeRun PRIME with a cable card. The provider is listed as “Comcast NW Suburbs - Digital” for my zipcode of 55311. I did a channel scan just for fun, and it still sees and identifies all the channels, but still no EPG.
Not acting any different than v1.11.3.4793 on my system.
EPG refresh took 83 minutes, Program Guide was visible and responsive during and after EPG refresh.
All my scheduled recording still there.
Logs available if you need them.
P.S. I have Enhanced Program Guide turned off in my DVR settings if it makes a difference
After another failed EPG refresh I opened up the log. In there, I can see the giant JSON chunk. It’s missing a closing ] at the very end. Once I add that, it validates (in JSONBuddy). Of course with it validated, I can see it’s only 65 channels, out of 345 selected. So perhaps it’s truncated? I will leave it to the experts, I was just curious what I could see in the log.
So, I caved. I deleted the DVR and then started the setup over. It’s doing the initial EPG download and is at about 4%. I will provide an update when it’s done.
Thanks everyone for your reports. Engineering is working on the empty EPG. It has to be fixed for each provider that gets us data across all the different regions: eyeq, onconnect, xmltv. I’m hearing EPG for eyeq has already been fixed today (and will be in another build), with the rest will follow.
@kinoCharlino: Will you post a link to the new build with the eyeq EPG fix inside this discussion thread? I will then try that since I am based in Melbourne, Victoria Australia and I believe based on my logs that my EPG uses eyeq. Thanks in advance.

We should have it later tonight (California time). Its awaiting review.

Here’s build 4802 with the eyeq fix we’re testing. We expect this to go to Plex Pass users in build 4803, which will follow soon.
I am in Melbourne Australia and am having the issue with high CPU data and no Program Guide even after deleting the DVR and setting it up again, multiple times. Running an HDHomerun Connect. It’d been driving me crazy since last night. I will give 4802 a go and let you know.
