DVR-Program Guide (EPG) is not refreshing

Since I install Plex 1.4.1 for Synology, I have not be able to refresh my channel guide (EPG). I have tried restarting the NAS, and also restarting the software. Nothing seems to work.

Version of Plex I am using is 1.4.1
Version of DSM I am using is DSM6.0,2-8451
NAS Model number DS216J

I’ve had a similar issue where I’ve gone in and found my program guide empty?
I refresh the epg data from the dvr menu and it goes through the motions but doesn’t populate the guide? I’m running version Version 1.4.3.3433.

my issue is, the program guide seems to be refreshing but my recording schedule is not showing anything scheduled in calendar view. the last thing that showed up for me was on monday 4/10

I had to update to 1.5.5.3634 refresh content and its working now.

I have 1.5.5.3634 and it still is not working, I was having to manually update DVR programming now nothing seems to work. It seems like it downloads the programming/EPG however its still blank…

It looks like the EPG update gets cancelled when you navigate away from the settings / DVR page…

I’m having the same issues with 1.5.5.3634, program guide was empty and trying to rebuild it fails if you navigate away from the settings page or the Program Guide page.

even when I stay on the page it doesn’t go past 1%, missed recording all my shows last night.

Mine downloaded only today after deleting the database, but wojn’t download past today.

I have been having so many issues with the EPG lately. Missed multiple episodes on Monday because it didn’t have the correct data for the HD channels. Had to remove the DVR box from Plex, add it back, scan shows and then download the EPG stuff again for it to show up the next day.

And yes, today the EPG doesn’t even refresh at all. I see program data for up until Saturday from my last refresh, but nothing for Sunday, Monday or any day next week.

I’m also seeing update issues as well. At least I have data for the next 12 days . Appears EPG issue may have started 2 days ago for me.

Looks like a bonafide bug. Is Plex aware?

not sure if they are aware. between this and the chromecast bug I might need to roll back to a previous version

Saturday is the last day I have recordings scheduled as well - is there a bug with the EPG service?

I don’t thnk this is related to anything on our servers. I just tried to setup the tunner on my Nvidia Shield. It hasn’t had anything setup previously. It just setup the DVR piece and then didn’t get any guide data.

I think we may all be creating more harm then good by clearing and setting stuff backup.

A Plex Employee commented that they are looking into it on this thread at 2:44 pm.
