When selecting a channel from the recent channels list below the playback controls on the Android TV client, instead of starting the stream, it exits the current screen and turfs you back to where you were in the UI before you began watching TV at all (so if you started Live TV playback from the guide, it puts you back there; if you started it from somewhere else in the Live TV section, that’s where you’re sent). This is suboptimal if the last few channels you watched were in a totally different block, which would then necessitate a lot of slow scrolling that just using the Recent Channels feature could have helped you avoid.
