[BUG] Unable to successfully disable channel in DVR with 2 devices

You could swap the antennas

I see this as well.

Do you agree that it appears that if the channel is enabled on any of the boxes, Plex is willing to record on all of them?

Also, do you ever see a situation where Plex tries to record to a channel, even if it’s disabled on all of the boxes?

BTW, I also have problems getting WFAA. May have to get a different antenna for that one.

I’m using cable but have noticed similar symptoms. I’m finding that restarting the PMS after any changes including just simple recording changes seems to reset the database, guide data, and tuners issues and the system works solid again until I make any changes. I know that restarting should not be a fix, maybe something for the developers to check but I am starting to see a pattern of a PMS restart seems to fix a lot of other peoples issues including my own.

I had a similar issue. Disabling the channels wasn’t working to get Plex to use my Extend instead of my Prime for local channels. I was able to do a database hack to change the order of my tuners to get the Extend to always be first.

in regards to splitting signal , you might want to look into a in-line booster i installed one of these from my main line before the cable companies cable box directly from wall and then attached the outs to the cable box & my SDI homerun boxes and it works perfect and get full perfect signal on all 3 devices and no problems with any other device in the house, now cat6 coax cable is also suggested for maximum signal and bandwidth of signal. Standard low-grade splitters won’t work because the frequency band isn’t high enough, same with cables low grade coax cables can’t handle the frequency range with big draws on signal.
